Tim Smeal joined the Unexpected Guests in 2003. After a brief hiatus from the group to pursue the emptiness that is capitalism, he returned to face his shame and became the area’s foremost proponent of jollity. When not performing improv, Tim enjoys growing vegetables and meeting your parents.

Wayne Carlsson; Virgo “The Virgin” (no comment). After playing around with various types of entertainment Wayne has landed in improv and loves it. Wayne loves his day job too as a chiropractor and realizes that it really is all it’s cracked up to be. Vices include coffee, road trips, coffee, music, coffee, cooking and he wanted it mentioned that he likes coffee. Oh and he likes coffee shops too.

Alison Barry’s life is filled with jokers. “Being surrounded by comedians my entire life has not only thrust me into an atmosphere of agony and suffering, but has forced me to learn the skillful art of ball-busting, which I take very seriously.” When she’s not making funny, Ali can be found singing show tunes in her car or shaking her boom-bah in Zumba class. Much love to the biggest joker in her life, Lenny and her little jokers Kate & Pete. A special shout-out to JR, who is very funny looking.

Heather Felton has been a Chautauqua County resident her whole life. At this time she is a happy graphic artist for a local company. She has a dog who used to write his own joke column, yet cannot grasp the concept of being house trained. She comes from a big family and that is why she enjoys quiet evenings at home alone. She is currently having a book written about her. Heather once won an award for best hair and has been striving for other awards since that day.

Mike Sullivan; Aries (builder of air castles). Might be the oldest improv rookie in improv history but, what else is new? Life experiences include everything from soldering to advertising and thinks all of it was funny. Loves movies, books, and hockey among other things. “My life has been improvised so being part of a great improv troupe just seems like the right thing to do.”

Jane Fischer was one of the original folks who said, “hey - let’s start an improv troupe” and is still enjoying it all. She tries to bring a bit of improv and humor to the other part of her life, which fits in quite nicely in the worlds of running programs and community education, currently on a college campus. Her vices include coffee (in large amounts), 80s pop culture, and the Red Sox. Fortunately, her niece & nephew encourage her to make a fool of herself, wear funny hats, and play hide & seek.

Gary Peters Jr. is a founding member of the Unexpected Guests. He has been making stuff up his whole life. His main goals in life include, staying out of jail, smiling at pretty girls, and playing lawn darts. He comes from a very nice family. They gave him $5 just to put that in his bio. Gary now has $5.

Malachi Livermore wishes that he didn’t have such a popular name but instead a name such as Bob or Bill. He loves performing and plans on doing it for the rest of his life. When not performing he enjoys living his life on the edge. He loves the adrenaline rush he gets when he goes out the entrance only door and walks on the sidewalk cracks. He believes that sleeping should be the new American past time.
